Great success in Sossano, for the fourth edition of the national event of 24h Palladio, the endurance challenge in area Berica  which saw also against bad weather, the strength and tenacity of a major project of sports tourism and culture together with the synergy in the territory between public administrations, Race-Organization and voluntary associations.

Over 350 bikers from all over Italy have challenged along the slopes of Monte della Croce on the path of the 24 hours of mountain bike which enshrined the halfway point of the national 24 Cup circuit, an itinerant sport project that aggregates for a whole day a lot of passionate people along trails and off-road paths always new: this year it brings together 6 prestigious stages between Cremona, Finale Ligure, Lake IDRO, Sossano, Val Rendena and Rome.

High noon Saturday with the via given directly by the Mayor Flavio Caoduro and all teams and solitary (those who cycle alone for all 24 hours without changes) ready to take on the ring of 5500 mt and 120 mt. height difference.

Absent the Defender of the team Loro Liona, winners of the previous edition, immediately to the command with a great desire for redemption after the faded winning of the 2009 for an error on the change was the team bresciano Geopietra Zaina bicycles. The relay of the clubs New Line Rovolon Sossano, Mtb S. Marinella – Rome, U.C. Ternatese Asd and Superbike Pozzetto let the power of the team Bresciano Geopietra untouched and even the entry in the race Saturday night by Gianfranco Mariuzzo s. Marinella couldn’t change the games. Capitan Pozzi and its team have imposed immediately a frantic race and until the early hours of the night nothing seemed could be slowed down. To break the triumphal procession was a very strong storm. At about 3 a.m., after a day of tremendous warm, the sky started dimming and has poured in a few minutes an incredible amount of water on the field race of Sossano while the strong wind has concluded the opera uprooting gazebos and tents.

Compulsory was the suspension of the race in order not to endanger bikers and companions and to repair the damages. At 8 again all in race for the last four hours and for the final catwalk of Team Geopietra Zaina.

 Great race of Claudio Pellegrini- among the solitary-  that has once again proven to be the strongest of specialty increasing his advantage in the special ranking 24 Cup classification. Excellent were also Alberto Zambelli, second in the ranking, Fabrizio Valle third, and Valter Marsili.

An extraordinary Ausilia Biancaneve Vistarini has won the competition for women and has earned a 5^th place in the solitary ranking and by forgetting his opaque performance Naturaid Trentino.

Yet another success of Kulamula Lapierre also in Sossano, win the final of the 24 Cup in the category with  ts 4 components.The guys at Massimo Ansoldi again confirmed their superiority by overpassing with 5 laps the Team Troppo Avanti and 7 laps the Adventure Bike Padova.

Santa Marinella in 4 females confirms the great participation of the Roman team to the circuit 24 CUP 2010 and great values expressed by its athletes.

Satisfaction of the organizers with the success of the race, funny and memorable not only for the time not too favourable during the weekend, but above all for the nice path through the vineyards of the Colli Berici (Berici Hills) and for the many entertainment moments offered for the athletes and the public, from swimming pool to free trial of indoor cycling with the Città della Speranza, from Anguriata (Water melon party) to Eismann party ... all in full spirit of  24 h Palladio, that wants to sports, music, gastronomy and culture as protagonists.
